Fro Fashion Week Fall 2012

This was my first season experiencing Fro Fashion Week Fall 2012, better known as FFW Fall 2012.

I was able to get my ALL ACCESS PASS as early as July for only $50!! This gave me access to the entire week's packed natural hair events.
This was such a great deal since the regular price was over $100!!!

There were daily events that started the week off with a Flash Mob in Atlanta.
I would love to be able to see that in person, I love corny stuff like that :-D

There were events everyday of the week!
In my opinion, the advertising for the weekly events was low, because I had to hunt down what the events were going to be each day...on the same week of the event!!
I kept expecting to get a heads up of what to expect from the Facebook site.

That didn't happen until a little bit later that week.

The events were posted to the Facebook page the week of the event, and I could see many naturals were wondering the same thing that I was...

Whats the AGENDA?!?

Well here is some of the events on the agenda for the
FFW Fall 2012

It was my goal to attend as many activities as possible, but my poor mind and body would not allow that to happen.
I had another event (Good Hair Day Series-check out that post!!)  the same Saturday of the Finale of  FFW events, which included the all day long conferences, and the Penthouse Party.

I did make it out to the Penthouse Party for a short time. I was disappointed in the turnout, but it sure was nice to see some of my facebook friends up close and personal.

Don't ever be skeered to come say "hello!!" I am not like that, and I know some bloggers can come off as standoffishness
THAT AINT ME :-D

  1. I attended all the events at FFW and it was a great time, I loved the intimate crowd, and they remind us all weekend that its not a trade show but an experience. the food at the penthouse party was GREAT and the fashion show was once again off the chain, very well done!!!
This was my 3rd time going, I can't believe how many women come from outside of ATL. I think they do a good job at organizing it. I agree advertising was a little low but I am not sure that is not by design to keep the crowd manageable

  2. YOu might be right about keeping a managable crowd. The FFW is an experience and I love that we have a resource to celebrate our natural hair~
