Black Women's Cake

If you haven't heard all around the world about this cake...well lemme be the first to tell ya!
I'm reading this article about the Minister of Sweden being invited to open World Art Day by "performing a clitoridectomy" (yea that's right ladies..they talking about cutting up ya cookies) to bring awareness to the global practice of female circumcision.

As you can see the cake itself is not only offensive and racist enough, but it howls whenever someone cuts it......check it out

I heard a story before about Saartjie "Sarah" Baartman.
Hold onto your heels for this one yall.
Saartjie Baartman was a curvy black woman born during the period of Dutch colonization in South Africa.
Take a look into her life and how she as a beautiful black woman back in the 1800's was marveled for her beauty AND brains even after her death

What does all this mean to you?
I love our beauty as black women and see all the time how we sabotage our reputation. I believe that each woman has choices to make that determine her circumstances, and none of us are in a position to judge.
What do you think?
