We are into Week 2 of the Winter Deep Conditioner Challenge and I'm loving how much we are able to interact and share stories. I really appreciate all you ladies retweeting and commenting on my posts.
Many of us are looking to maintain moisture and have some growth throughout our challenge!
We will have our 1st length check at Week 4. This will provide each of us with a baseline for our hair growth. If you have already done a hair length check, you are one step ahead of the #WDCC crew. You can still join us at Week 4 and check in your progress :-)
Selecting your favorite Deep Conditioner can be a pain and its hard to know which conditioner works the best when you are trying something different each time, right? I was inspired to try out various Deep Conditioners at the same time on 4 separate sections of my head.
In this video I use 4 different Deep Conditioners on my hair to determine which works best with my curls.
Its important that we select conditioners and shampoos that work well with our curly hair. Using several products inconsistently will not help you in knowing if the products you are using are truly working the way they should.
Here's a tip.
Use a "new" product for at least 4 weeks consistently before determining whether it is working the way you desire. If you hair is feeling dry, damaged, and brittle, I would definitely recommend trying a different product. My point is to have us focus on what our hair is telling us. That is the true determination if the product is worth continuing to use and purchase again.
